Something off?
Most problems are one of the few below. If yours is not, write to support@rundeck.app.
My iPhone cannot find my Mac
- Make sure Rundeck is running on the Mac — its icon is in the menu bar.
- Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
- On the iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → turn on Rundeck.
The pointer does not move
On the Mac: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → turn on Rundeck. If it is already on, turn it off and on again after updating the app.
Three-finger swipes do not change desktop
Rundeck uses the Mac's own shortcuts. In System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts → Mission Control, turn on “Move left a space”, “Move right a space”, Mission Control and Application windows.
The magnifier does not appear
It needs Screen Recording: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording → turn on Rundeck, then turn the magnifier off and on from the phone.
I replaced my iPhone
Pair the new one from its Rundeck app. Remove the old one in Rundeck's settings on the Mac under Paired devices.
Try it without a Mac
Choose Try the demo on the first screen of the iPhone app to use every page against a simulated Mac.
